I'm an old soul in a young body, which is fine with me. Spry limbs combined with experience beyond my years? I'll take it! But, it makes it hard for me to connect with my generation. I'm addicted to spontaneity, anything absurd, and all things ridiculous. My favorite band is Keane, and not just because I've never heard anything like them before, although that is certainly part of it. They really seem to understand the meaning of the word "song." Writing is my life; I will always write, even if I'm never good enough to make it my career. Like any good writer, I read a lot, perhaps too much, and try to take something, anything, away from my reading. Even if it is awful, I try to learn from what I read. Why was it awful? What did the author do to make it so? Is that just my opinion? Although sometimes I fear I'm not quite right in the head, I accept that there are others in worse condition, so why complain? Live life to the fullest, because a life not lived wasn't worth living. Whatever that means. ;)
